    Folder C:\$Extend Is Taking Up 30 GBytes Space and I Can't Access It


    I noticed that in settings>storage that 'System and reserved' was taking up 57 GBytes and I wanted to find out why. I tried a few apps Treesize and WinDirStat but none could give me an adequate breakdown. Eventually, I found out about WizTree and this seemed to reveal the problem; 31.6GBytes of data is stored in folder C:\Extend - this is more than either Windows or Users see below. I opened an administrator command prompt and tried to get into the folder but 'Access was denied'. Does anyone know how to clear out this folder?ThanksRon
