Windows 10: Folder display keeps displaying as Music files

I can change it back to "General" but it won't stick, or random folders will switch back. It's a pain. I think it's because the drive letter is D and that would traditionally be used for disk drives my PC has no internal disk drive. Any advice? I want to make sure it stays configured as General.Thanks

Display resolution keeps changing

Hi Rick,

It might be caused by a faulty driver that's why your display resolution keeps changing. We
suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the display driver, see steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Uninstall.
• Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Folders - display of file properties wrecked by latest W10 update

The latest W10 update has made all my folders have their files displaying a common list of properties, irrespective of file type, whether the folder is one for photos or music or video or documents.

Now they all display like the last folder I have adjusted.

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below steps:

Method 1.

I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the display adapter driver and check. Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for display adapter and click on it to expand.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic display adapter driver.
  

If this doesn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to update the display adapter driver. Skip step3 from the above steps and right click on the
device and click on update.

Method 2.

If the above method did not help to fix the issue, I would suggest you to
go to the AMD manufacturer website and download the latest display adapter driver. If the display driver is not available for Windows 10, try installing the available driver in compatibility mode and check.

  Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.
