Windows 10: Folder doesn't go away after deleting in Windows 11

I recently did a 'Shift+Delete' on a folder, after I clicked 'Yes' in the confirmation dialog, the folder did not go away.I am using Windows 11 Home Single Language Version 22H2, OS Build: 22621.819 with latest updates installed.The folder doesn't have any files in it, it just contains empty folders.Folder is not present in system drive, and I have full permission to rename it, create files and folder in it, modify it and perform a delete action just like any other normal folder.Things I have tried:Basically, every possible fix.1. Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.
