Windows 10: folder keeps changing to read only and i've tried every fix possible

title pretty much explains the whole thing so i cant save my game or create a new save because the save folder keeps reverting to read only and i cant do nothing about it because nothing worksidk if y'all need specs but imma include em anywayCPU: Intel i7-12700kRAM: 32 GB DDR5SSD: NTFS local fixed disk with 95GB leftGPU: RTX 3080 10GMobo: ASUS ROG Strix gaming b660-F gaming wifihope yall can help because this been going on for like a month my system is up to date and everything

Folder reverts to Read Only (Tried MANY Fixes...)

Hello,

On one of our Windows 10 systems, a particular folder keeps reverting to Read Only...

I have read carefully, and tried, the many suggestions I have found. All have failed.

Might there be a "This always works for me" approach out there? This is driving me nuts.

How to Fix Folder Keeps Reverting to Read Only

Hi all
I have tried all the suggestion on the internet I can find but I have a issue where every time I unclick the Attributes Read Only button the next time I view it it had been switched back on.

The folder is on an external drive and formatted EXFAT.

There has been a suggestion is that I need to reformat to the Windows Format but to me that will be a last resort action.

The reason I discovered the issue is that I was using Powertoys rename on a file in the folder and it just would change it. but for files on the C: drive it no issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
