Windows 10: Folder made with shortcut too slow rar, zip compressed files slowing down the file explorer

Hello!I switched to windows 11 with fresh install around 1-2 month ago. I have two major problem with it.I asked these questions because unfortunately I couldn't find any solution on the internet. My bugs are the followings:1.I always like to make folder with shortcut, it's easier and faster for me. CTRL + SHIFT + NOn windows 11 it takes 3-5 second which is funny because if i made with mouse there is no delay, it makes the folder instantly.Which makes it even more weirder if i use another shortcut for examle Windows + E, Windows + R, Alt + Tab or CTRL + C all work immediately.So even with t

Folders with zip files

I have like 30 or more folders and everyone of them has only one single zip file.
How can I extract all zip files inside of all folders?

 

Trouble extracting Rar files

make sure you are extracting it to the place your looking and not a default rar folder where they all go.

just to be sure, create a new folder on your desktop then drag the rar file onto it and drop it in. then open the "new folder" you created and then select "extract here"

if its not there after that then you have a bad or incomplete rar file and you will have to redownload it or another file containing the same exe file you want.

as a rule it is best to never download zip or rar files as they are often viruses so be carefull

 

Opening zip file slows down explorer if SVN enabled folder is in quick access list

I have a couple of SVN folders in my quick access list, and TortoiseSVN installed. After opening a .zip file using Explorer's built-in viewer, Explorer slows down whenever a file is selected. This problem persists even after navigating away from that .zip to some other place, until a new Explorer window is opened.

This problem also occurs even if you don't open the .zip file, but instead select the file and open the "Compressed Folder Tools" on the ribbon.

It seems like it's trying to repopulate the "Extract to" list everytime a file is selected. I've tried resetting the quick access list using the method in Where are the Win 10 Quick Access settings stored? and confirmed that the slow down no longer occur, until it's populated with SVN folders again.

Meanwhile, I could associate the .zip files with some other zip viewer (7-zip) and avoid the problem altogether, but if possible I'd like to keep the default viewer, for reasons.

Is there a way to avoid the slow down?
