Windows 10: Folder options- one setting to rule them all

    Folder options- one setting to rule them all


    In folders explorer, the "Intelligent folder type" annoys me to no end, and setting and resetting the folder display style and properties is a constant battle in my workflow.

    If I can't nuke it altogether, how do I set ALL system-wide folders to a specific display once and for all?

    For example:

    • View=Details
    • Sort by=Name, Ascending
    • Group by=None
    • +Column: File extension

    View>list folder option doesn't stick to all folders


    In a folder, when I do View>list and then in Options apply that to all folders, it often doesn't stick, i.e some sub folders under that folder show the details view. Any suggestions?

    In fact it looks like all new folders are defaulting to details view.

    Possible to create a rule in outlook to move all SMS messages that are sync to outlook to a sub folder?

    MY windows mobile phone sync all sms messages to my outlook via Exchange. All the sms messages are located in the inbox folder, I would like to create a rule in outlook to move all these sms messages to a sub folder.

    I have check all the options in rules but could not figure out a way to do this? Any one has done this before or has any suggestions on how this could be done?
