Windows 10: Folders being created on my gaming HDD

Hi the screenshot below shows my HDD which is only for storing games. For some reason I am getting folders created msdownload.tmp, Program Files, WindowsAPps, WpSystem. Is there a way to permanently remove these files and stop them from being created on this HDD ? Why is this happening in the first place.

How to create app shortcut in Games Folder on Windows 10

From the above description, I understand you are unable to create shortcut of a game in the “Games folder” on the computer.

• When you say “but does not appear in Games folder”, which game folder are you referring to?
• Are you able to launch the game with facing any performance issue on the computer?
• Which build is currently installed on the computer?

You can pin the games downloaded from Windows Store on Start menu by selecting
Pin to Start. Follow the steps below to pin the game on Start menu and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard and click on
  All apps option is located in the bottom left corner of the
  Start menu window.
• Locate the game installed, right click and select
  Pin to Start from the context menu.
• Close the window, click on Windows logo key on the keyboard and check if the game is pinned to
  Start menu for easy access of the game.

creating new folder problem in windows 10 creator

The problem you've encountered in creating a folder could be caused by software or program conflict as the issue appeared a few days after installing the Windows 10 Creators update. For us to know if this only occurs when creating a new folder from the desktop,

Cannot Create a Folder HDD





I have a HDD named "Storage A" which I recently noticed that I cannot create or delete folders. This was not an issue before. I noticed this problem when steam games suddenly stopped working and my games are stored on this HDD.



When I try to create folder it says this (picture below). Even if I click on continue it just says try again.





I have checked the permission of the HDD and its says that administrator (which is me) has full access. I have also made Everyone have full access to this drive .





I can only delete and add folders on safe mode.
