  1. Folders not refreshing automatically in Windows 10

I have a user whose File Explorer was stuck on "working on it" every time he opened it. I went ahead and cleared the quick access history, changed the folder to launch on This PC, and rebuilt the Indexing just to be on the safe side. Now any file renaming does not get auto-refreshed on both the local PC and the network drives.

    I have tried several things:

    1. Checking or unchecking options on the folder options -> search tab
    2. Enabling "launch folder windows in a separate process"
    3. Restore all defaults this actually caused a problem with the explorer launching again

The last thing I have yet to try is edit the registry, but that solution is from 2016 and may not even work anymore.

    What else can we do?

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Suggestion - GPU-Z window Reload (refresh)

Most items are refreshed automatically. I'll add driver details to items that get refreshed.

Adding F5 for complete refresh is a good suggestion
