    When I start the pc obviously leaving the apps that I have activated at startup to load and I open a folder it opens after 1 second, but if I open it several times it opens in less than a second it's a bug, can you settle it? ryzen 5 3600, 1660 driver updated, 16gb ram 3200mhz corsair lpx, b450 tuf gaming plus

    To assist you further, let me ask.


    • What changes have you make in the folder options?

    • Is the error specific to a folder?
    I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it help.


    • Open file explorer, click on view and select options.

    • Double-click on options, in the general tab click on Open each folder in the same Window.

    • Click apply and ok.

    Opening a Folder in VC++

    I've recently started learning VC++ and it's coming along quite nicley, I've now been given a little task by my boss to add a button to an excisting Incident report program.

    All the button needs to do is open a new explorer window and open the folder selected in the incident report program. There isn't a deadline for it, it's just to assist in my learning.

    I'm not asking for anyone to do it for me, i just need a few suggestions on how to do this so i'm looking in the correct direction?

    Opening Folders

    Second oddity and related question of the week. All folders are now opening in a medium size format, Not minimum size and Not maximum. Any items in a folder are shown in "list" view rather than icons. If I enlarge the folder to maximum size and change
    the view to "large icons" and then close the folder, when I reopen the folder it's back to medium size and "list" view. This has never happened before and it started about 3 days ago along with the odd behavior on the task bar. Any explanations or suggestions?
    I am contemplating a Restore rather than suicide. Thanks.
