Windows 10: folders view , joke or what ?

Discus and support folders view , joke or what ? in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; any chance that when we set the folders view setting it stays like that for next time , or is windows 10 so rubbish that we have to keep tinkering with...     any chance that when we set the folders view setting it stays like that for next time , or is windows 10 so rubbish that we have to keep tinkering with settings ?

    since using windows 10 i can not think of one decent thing about it . bing wont use , cant uninstall , edge wont use , cant uninstall considering so many people want it uninstalled but embedded on purpose now , why both ? , bing maps wont use , cant uninstall cortana wont use , cant uninstall , chrome edge definitely wont use , cant uninstall , xbox wont use , cant uninstall , cloud wont use . personal settings are limited , cant open some folders due to microsoft owning my computer , constant updates . a tonne load of other **** i have no idea what theyre for but on my comp taking up space

    windows 10 is rubbish and microsoft couldnt give a toss what we think even though edge has the lowest rating for privacy

    Custom Folder view for new folders registery hack ?

    Te new folder has default view of LIST

    I want DETAILS

    When making new system ... it's a pain in ass changing always.

    Did you download and run Brink's .bat file in Step 1 ? Lacking that, look at the screens in post 3. In Step 5 'folders of this type' defaults to each of the Windows templates for Pictures, Music, etc. If you want ALL folders to have the same List view, r-click any folder in each of the 5 folders under This PC (Desktop does not apply) and hit 'Customize this folder'. Set to 'Optimize this folder for General Items". Then follow the screen in post 3 using List instead of Details in Step 1 and you should be good to go.

    folders view , joke or what ?

    Folder view issue

    I want my folders (and subfolders) to stay in List view but they keep changing to Details view.

    I have tried View>Options>Apply to Folders many times but it doesn't stick.

    Any suggestions?
