Windows 10: Following an Undate on 12/15 I keep getting 0x80096004 error

I am seeing error 0x80096004 following a recent MS Update on 12/15/21. Before this, I had used OneDrive on a manual basis only choosing the folders & files I wanted to keep backup copies of on OneDrive. Now I wish to go back to my prior method. I went to Control Panel\Programs & Features and tried to remove it but it does not appear. I also tried to stop it in Computer Management but it was not shown there either.How can I disable it OneDrive? It appears a lot of my files & folders are stored there at this point. I tried to copy them and put them back in the Document folder w

Fix update error 0x80096004


As a Windows Insider, update version 17046.1000 is shown as available, but every attempt to download gets the same error message: 0x80096004.

Have tried numerous fixes including MS update repair, registry repair, etc, etc.

Any suggestions which do NOT include using system restore, or a paid repair app?
