Windows 10: Following the latest Windows update I have a number of problems

Can anyone help please?


Following the last Windows update I have problems with outlook whereby it closes down to the taskbar every time I close an email. Also from my start menu, I no longer have a list of tasks and my 'life at a glance' totally changed. In addition to this, whenever I flick between open files, Beit, Excel, Word, PDF, Outlook etc there is a time delay and the resolution is initially blurred. There is also some line spacing issues within my file explorer which I cannot work out how to change back. All these things are very irritating bearing in mind I work from home. Please help

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.
