Windows 10: Followup on question, "how do I turn off notification?" Titled, "Stop Num Lock On...

The original description was, "After I reinstalled Windows 11 on my Surface Go3 I3, i get a Num Lock On notification whenever I type using the key pad of my Logitech MX5500. How do I turn off notification?"I tried Logi Options+, which is a nice application, but was unable access the MX 5500 keyboard. My other Logitech devices are displayed in the Options+ app. Note, Windows 11 properly recognizes both the MX 5500 keyboard/mouse and MX Master 2S mouse.After a couple of hours during the last 5 months, I found a solution that doesn't require using Logi Options +version 1.66.531337, a 3rd party

keyboard num lock stopped working in Windows 10

Windows 10. During the week of August 16th keyboard num lock stopped working. I have 3 computers and all three have the same problem. When I activate num lock key my screen turns black for 1-3 seconds and returns to prior screen before activating num
lock. When num lock is activated only the /, * , - , + and Enter keys work. I have changed out my wireless keyboard for a USB keyboards and no difference of being able to use the numeric keys. I have removed any programs added during the month of August ,
no change of num lock.

Has anyone have the same problem or know how to getting the numeric keys to activate.

Thank you for your reply, however I have not had any success.

I had num locked enabled then I followed the steps exactly... unchecked
Turn on fast startup (recommended) and saved the changes. I restarted the computer and num lock is still disabled on start up.

I have also tried another forum suggested method: log in screen press num lock key to enable and then restarting from log in screen. This also did not work. Is it something to do with windows 10??
