Windows 10: Followup question to Modern app startup management

Similar question to what was answered here:https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/startup-apllications-in-windows-10/0b895da7-fa49-4a4d-816f-0adb3445fc74I found that area of the registry successfully, and have 2 questions:1. Rodrigo's answer alludes to a group policy that can control the startup of these Modern apps if the startup value is set to 4. Where is this group policy? I haven't been able to find it.2. If an app is deployed via SCCM for All Users, the app still shows up at that reg key per-user. Is there a location in the registry where Modern apps can be managed per-m

Setting Modern Apps to open at Windows Startup on Windows 10

Hi Tobe,

Unfortunately, you cannot add a Windows Modern app to the Startup programs list. You can add only executable programs to the startup list. I'd suggest you to right click on the app and pin it to your taskbar for easy/quick access.

My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix

Actually, I like your suggestion as a first step.

Unchecking the wrong thing in Autoruns can brick a system.
