    Font and Icon Problems After Windows 11 Update 06/11/25


    I have been seeing pixelated font and blank desktop icons after the 06/11/25 Windows 11 Update. I have also experienced some discoloration on some Windows features. When using the windowed form of an app, I experience a very unpleasant graphic when moving the window with my mouse. Are there any fixes for these problems?

    In Windows 11, font size of SOME elements doesn't scale

    Windows 11 on a Surface Pro 9, updated religiously. I use scale 200% and font size 130 on 2880x1920 resolution. This works perfectly for my old eyes, except for a few exceptions.

    Font doesn't scale and stays illegibly small on (among others):

    • File Explorer
      • navigation pane folder icons and names (but okay in Ribbon)
      • content window (where file list/icons are displayed) file names
    • Task Manager
      • lists (title bar and vertical menu are okay)
    • Classic Control Panel
      • title bar
      • breadcrumb trail
      • View As dropdown
      • Small Icons view (names tiny, Large Icons is okay)
      • home screen (names of subcategories tiny)

    Anyone any idea why this happens, and how I can make these Windows 11 elements conform to my text scale setting?

    Windows 10 Make icons/font bigger

    Hi guys,

    I have the Zoltac ZBOX-AD04 PLUS connected through HDMI with a 32"inch TV and i can't see the icons/font at my bed. I want the icons/font bigger.

    Missing icon in webpages and font error in IE11 on windows 10

    Hi,

    I tried loading some company internal website, using IE 11 on company windows 10 computer, these websites :

    • have many missing icons
    • when hit f12 and under console @font-face encountered unknown error

    Details:

    - Company windows 10 laptop doesn't have edge installed
    (maybe ie-11 on windows 10 uses some shared extensions from Edge?)

    - Tried using chrome on company windows 10 laptop,
    no icon and font error

    - Tried using IE on company windows 8 laptop,
    no icon and font error

    - Tried using IE 11 on personal windows 10 laptop with Edge installed,
    no icon and font error

    Please, advise on possible problem or causes,
