Windows 10: Font version for the emoticons in Skype for Business

Skype for Business has some great emoticons. Yes our "team" uses them regularly. However, our business upgraded to Win10 and the emoji version for the keyboard in Win10 is Segoe UI Emoji Regular - which is terrible. Flat ugly OG emoji files. Skype has interactive Emojis and I'd like to know what the emoticon version is in Skype for Business and whether I can default that as the keyboard emoji version instead of the ugly unviewable ones included in Segoe UI Emoji Regular.

Skype for business stuck at splash screen on startup

Just a suggestion... Do you have Microsoft Office installed? If you do Skype for Business is listed under your Microsoft Office folder in your start folder/ All apps. (that's where mine is listed) Right click on it, then choose Uninstall .

You Can install the regular Skype even if Skype for Business is installed.....I have both installed.

Skype for Business ALWAYS starts during Windows boot

Thanks for your reply. First I suggest you check for updates for the Skype for Business client, as based on my tests, the issue has gone in the

latest version of Skype for Business.



To Stop Skype for Business from startup, please follow the instructions below:

1 . First please follow the instructions in the Step 1 part
in this article.

2 . If it doesn’t work, please open Task Manager and go to
Startup tab, right click on Skype for Business and click Disable.

3 . If it still doesn’t work, please follow the instructions in my reply on January, 7

in this link to delete the Lync registry value to see if it works.

Help->About Skype for Business and capture a screenshot of the detailed version number.
