Windows 10: fonts folder not showing in windows folder and fonts not listed when typing folder location...

fonts folder not showing in windows folder. i have to manually type C:/Windows/Fonts. which is idiotic. then, because i am trying to place fonts in my website to use, when i type C:/Windows/Fonts, the folder opens BUT IT'S BLANK. WHICH IS ALSO IDIOTIC.BECAUSE I AM SIMULTANEOUSLY SEEING ALL THE FONTS IN PHOTOSHOP AND WORD!why are they not showing? cannot even get into the folder properties. after almost three decades working in windows as a designer there has never been such foolishness.

Vista Ultimate - 'User' Folder Location

No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.

any more suggestions

 

Fonts not showing in Font Folder

Hi

I have a number of fonts that show up in Word and other programs but are not in the Windows (10) Font folder. How can I track where these fonts are so I can either install them in the Font Folder or delete them?

Thanks for any advice you may be able to give as I have wasted way too much time on this.

 

Windows 10 fonts folder

I have windows 10 pro. It seems some fonts have variations, for example, arial black. These variations do not show up in the C:->windows->fonts folder, but are sub-fonts of the ones listed, and show up in C:->windows->fonts->arial. However, some of
my apps cannot find the variations. I have tried to copy from the C:->windows->fonts->arial to the C:->windows->fonts folder, but it just dings. Is there any way to put the variations back in the fonts folder? Arial Black shows up in some apps, but not
in others. And I use it ALL the time. Recently I was forced to upgrade from Windows 7, which I had for many, many years, because the app I was using was no longer supporting Windows 7. Which is why I only recently discovered this problem that others have
been posting about for a while now. However, my issue seems to be different. I have the font, I can find the font, I know where the font is located, but I need it to be in a different location, and I don't know how to get it there.
