Why is it with windows 10 you have extra fonts, plus graphic settings and other settings that lead you to believe that you can customize all of your fonts on various settings, but you can' change them anywhere except notepad, word ,and various programs like these. Who decided the public no longer wanted to customize their computer anymore? When I started with windows 95, then 98 2nd edition xp an vista, you could customize everything. The first thing I would do would revert everything to the classic look and choose whichever font I wanted for the look or style I was trying to achieve. Well, no more, unless I have completely overlooked everything and the settings are in different locations. I hate the style of windows 10. I want it to look like and adults workstation instead of a kids toy with big colored pictures of the settings or apps. If I could go back, I would choose windows 98 2nd edition. Hardly ever any problems and almost any software would run on it. Not with OS10. most software that I loved to use no longer worked once it hit OS7. I was so frustrated to the point of hating windows. Well, enough about that, it's not going to change because I don't believe enough people even new you could change and customize so much. A lot of people I know are afraid to touch buttons that might change something, so they leave it like it is.

    :)

    Hello,

I found these steps in this forum from back in 2010:

    Step 1:

I would suggest you to try these steps and check whether it helps in fixing your issue.

Open font settings by clicking on start, click on control panel, and then click on appearance and personalization, under fonts click on change font settings. And select the font size.

    Step 2:

If you’re trying to change windows font size then please follow the steps below:

    To change Windows fonts

    1. Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type window color, and then click Change window colors and
    metrics
    .

    2. In the Item list, click the part of Windows that you want to change the font for. For example, if you want to change the menu font, click Menu in the list. Then, make any of the following changes:

    · In the Font list, click the font that you want to use.

    · In the Size list, click the font size that you want.

    · In the Color list, click the font color that you want.

    3. Repeat these steps for each item that you want to make changes to, and then click OK.

    Does that help?
