Windows 10: For 3rd time... Extremly high ping issues on Windows 11

So this is my third time opening this in hope someone will give me a answer..."Since I have updated to Windows 11 I have issues with my ping constantly. When I updated it used to reach amounts of 2k+ ms. Around 2 months ago whilst searching for answer I was desperate I found this thing that helped me a little bit:Typing in command prompt admin privilages: netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface=WI-FIIt helped me a lot. My ping stabilized, but still after around 2 hours now it's even less of gameplay on my laptop from stable 40-90 ms or even lower it just jumps to 200+ ms and it

It helped me a lot. My ping stabilized, but still after around 2 hours (now it's even less) of gameplay on my laptop from stable 40-90 ms (or even lower) it just jumps to 200+ ms and it becomes extremly unstable. Fix to that issue is reset laptop and ping goes back to normal, but I just don't feel like resetting my laptop over and over again. Any fixes to this issue?

Btw. I tryed a lot of stuff to fix it... Updating drivers, running troubleshoot and much more!

 

Extremly high Ping on Windows 11

How's the performance of the computer hardware? Ping can be created by parts not performing high enough. I have two computers as comparison and the ping is higher on the weaker one.

Also, its networking hardware can be worse and create more ping - networking hardware all varies and its not "free" (there is a performance cost and possible driver issues). BIOS can contribute.

Also, configuration issues could be present from some horrible driver or poor user choices.

Others could be using the router at the same time which will increase network traffics and be an issue.

Two computers could get two different games servers and higher ping on one than the other.

So on.

You should check ping to google.com on both computers or whatever. See how that is and rule out the game servers. At the very least. If you want to do a comparison and think your computer has an issue then you need to be sure. Games are not great at that.

Hello Laj, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

I understand that you are having ping issues on Windows 11;

What exactly is your laptop model and manufacturer?

Before answering the question I suggest that you try to perform a clean boot;

1. Press the Windows + R keys, type msconfig and click OK;

2. In the System Configuration window, click on the services tab;

3. At the bottom of the screen, check the Hide all Microsoft services box and click Disable all;

4. Now click on the Programs Startup tab and on Open Task Manager;

5. When loading the task manager, click on the start tab and disable all non-Microsoft programs (right-click on the program and choose disable), close the Task Manager and click OK on system configuration and restart computer if requested.

NOTE: This procedure disables all third party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, selectively enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, instead of keeping all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

Restart the PC and check if the ping problem still persists;
