Windows 10: For anyone unable to view network shares after 1709 update

If you have the above problem on any Windows Pro/Enterprise PC’s in a workgroup enviroment after the latest 1709 update try the following:-
Run gpedit.msc
Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Network>Lanman Workstation
Enable insecure guest logon = enabled
The Home version isn’t affected
Hopefully it will fix the problem

performed to turn off Password Protected Sharing? If so, would you be able to provide us the result? It would also be better if you can provide us a screenshot of what you are encountering so that we can have a better picture of the issue.
