I am scrambling to have on tap a `FINAL STATE` install before eod 2020_01-14. Question: I want to have FOUR independent OS's on a 750GB 2.5'' WD HD }} 1. WinXP for legacy sftwr ; 2. Win07 ult ; 3. LinuxMINT latest and *lastly* 4. Win 10 pro...since somewhere I read the latest [defalt?] OS should be installed LAST.

The plan was to install these in the order shown. However I see that your directions for the W7 install stipulate using "custom" and opting for ONE partition on disk. To do what I'm proposing I need 4 obviously.

So is it possible to do the following actions in sequence?: a 'prep' the destination disk,

b make 4 175GB partitions,

c First, due to time sensitivity, Win07 onto prtn #2,

and then as time allows finish this "master disk" [and image it] so the boot order @ start tracks my preferred partition# sequence.

Hi,

My Dell laptop developed HDD issues a while back after I had upgraded it from Win 8.1 to win10. I had to buy a new Hdd n reinstall the Win10 but my software person didn't reinstall my laptop's win10 from MS server but got me a Win10 pro from a network that
i'm not a part of. I was unaware of all these things until the OS started asking to be activated. But my laptop had a genuine windows os before I had to change the hdd. I learnt I could still reinstall my original windows10 by downloading from the Ms server.
I have downloaded the ISO from Microsoft website unto my system but I don't know what to do next. I'm wondering if ican just run that directly and if it would recognize my hardware as one which is re`g`i```````````tered on the server and reinstall my original
win 10 and still retain my files/documents or if I should backup my files, create a bootable usb from the iso image and then do a clean install.

Step-up for canadians?

I've heard/read someone did get fully taxed on their step-up card.. sucks for us, the step-up really does not do to much for us atm.. I guess you could try and than tell us how it goes so we all know for sure.. but be prepared to get taxed. I donno how easy it would be to fight paying the full tax on the item but prob not worth your time.

Edit: it comes from the States thier step-up program branch is done from there *Frown , wish they had a Canadian Branch. but hey I donno 100%, thats just what I have read before on another fourm.
