    My new 1G residential service tests at 900 +/- MPS using an Ookla app (downloaded and installed). Ookla's generic test site shows under 200 MPS, as does the ISP's test site. Test results taken within minutes of each other, on the same Windows 10 PRO PC with an I7 processor, 16GB of ram, and 2 SSD's (around 2 months old).

    The ISP specifically recommends the use of their site for speed tests, even though it shows their service to be deficient. ISP's level 2 support unable to explain or resolve. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Network Speed Test APP V1.0.0.23

    Ran this again under Windows 10 and the numbers dont jive with common speed test tools on the web and also the tool provided by my ISP. Download shows 8Mbps+ and upload shows 2Mbps+. Other tools used shows a more accurate set of numbers - 30Mbps+ and 6Mbps+.
    Supported high end speed with ISP is 50Mbps.

    Network Speed Test results significantly different from Okla SpeedTest

    Running the Network Speed Test app on a Win 10 computer I consistently get results significantly different than the de facto tool Speedtest from Okla.

    eg.

    App
    Download (Mbps)
    Upload (Mbps)

    MS Speedtest
    6.31
    3.56

    Okla Speedtest
    33.73
    19.65

    They both measure in Mega bits per second Mbps.

    Any idea why the results are so different?

    Network speed test not showing history or upload speed Windows 10

    I just downloaded Network Speed Test from the MS Store but it shows only the download speed. It doesn't show the upload speed nor the history. Any suggestions, anyone?
