Windows 10: For my phone that has 2 SIM cards, why does Phone Link show some of my message threads as...

My phone has 2 SIM cards/numbers...one for work and one for personal. Phone Link on both my work and personal computer recently started showing some of my message threads as group chats with the other number being my work phone number...even though my work number is the number I've always texted that person with. I don't know why this could be. I've tried resetting Phone Link on both computers to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a fix?

To guide you in the right direction, let us know the following:

• Which network sim is that?
• What is the exact error message?

I suggest you try inserting that particular sim card in a different phone and check the behavior. And also check the phone as well with a different sim card.

What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

You may try these steps to isolate the issue:

• Restart your phone.
• Check that your SIM card is fully inserted.
• If possible, try your SIM card in another phone, or another SIM card in your phone.
