Windows 10: For the past two days my wallpaper changes itself everytime i switch on my laptop.

For the past two days my desktop wallpaper changes itself everytime i switch on my laptop. Even though it isn't set on windows spotlight and i change the wallpaper back to what i set it to before shutting down. How do i stop this from happening?

  Are you not able to choose the directory where the wallpapers has been saved?
  

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to restart the computer and check if you are able to successfully change the lock screen wallpaper.

  From Desktop, right click and select
  Personalize.
  
• 
  In Personalization window, click on
  Lock Screen in the left pane.
  
• 
  And choose wallpaper you would like to apply for the lock screen by choosing the browse option.
  
• 
  Close the Personalization window.

Windows 11 Dynamic wallpaper is not switching images

I had the same issue, tried these suggested solutions and didn't work for me But today i opened my laptop and i see that wallpaper changed, weird. Want to note that on lock screen switching images worked.

 

wallpaper changes without warning

Have 2 computers both running Windows 10 on my local network, desktop (3 monitors) and a laptop. each computer has different wallpaper to start with. But without warning at random time the desktop switches to the laptop wallpaper. And if I switch back the
desktop then the laptop wallpaper changes to the desktop wallpaper. FYI; The 2 computers were not in the same homegroup.

Not a killer issue but irritating as hell.
