    For those who use McAfee what subscription do you use


    It seems McAffee is asking me to always upgrade and add to my subscription. I am on the Advanced individual plan. But during a recent scan recommended I get the PC optimizer and then another scan recommended anti-tracker. This would be three ongoing subsubscriptions. Do I need all of those?Also, for those of you that use McAfee, what plan or what do you recommend? I am turning off my automatic renewal until I figure out what to do.

    Popups from Mcafee "Your subscription has expired"

    McAfee popups " your subscription has expired" have jumped up onto my screen about 100 times in the last several weeks. How to make them STOP?

    Control Panel, uninstall does not list McAfee, nor does task scheduler Help!

    Windows: Subscription to McAfee VirusScan expires soon. Mcafee: Your McAfee subscription ends in 179389 day(s)

    Windows Virus & Threat Protection, under Protection Updates, states, "Your subscription to McAfee VirusScan expires soon".

    McAfee from AT&T states: "Your McAfee subscription ends in 179389 day(s)".

    I guess the difference may be the interpretation of the word, "soon". I figure more than 500 years is good enough.

    When I have time, I'll uninstall and reinstall McAfee at the advice of AT&T technical assistance. However, this clearly is a Microsoft error.

    I should add that my laptop has a chip that is not compatible with Windows 11, so that is not an option.

    Thanks to anyone that comes up with a cleaner option.
