    For years my monitors have flashed, gone black, or not responded. When will this be fixed?


    I have now had multiple motherboards, video cards and monitors. All have had the issue where monitors go black, and may or may not come back.This seems to be associated with having three or more displays attached. It is incredibly disruptive.Today, with a brand new motherboard and install of Windows 11, I woke up and moved the mouse only to find that my left monitor will not turn on no matter what I do. The power is on, I can see that, the monitor display works, but it does not show an image. Windows can see the monitor, but it remains black.I have seen many other similar complaints, so th

    Why won't my monitor stop flashing a black screen

    One day after upgrading to windows 10, the monitor on my PC won't stop flashing a black screen. It is soo frustrating as I cannot access any files, apps etc because I am not give the chance. Each time the screen opens the cursor is in a different place and
    by the time I point it to what I want the screen goes black again. I have been trying to system restore, rebooting to no avail. I have even gone through the steps of reverting back to win 7 but that tells me I may loose some programs.

    How can I fix it.

    My monitor has gone to black and white

    My monitor has gone to black and white.

    I switched monitors to make sure it wasn't my monitor.

    I purchased a graphics card thinking that was the problem, but I just installed the new graphics card and I still have black and white monitor.

    Note: After dealing with this for a week (and the graphics card arrived, but I had not installed yet) everything went back to color.

    That lasted a day. I restarted the computer and everything is in black and white. That is when I installed the graphics card.
