Windows 10: Forbidden symbol appearing when trying to move file to My Computer, Library and other drives

I recently installed Windows 10 and on the same day, suddenly, I could no longer move files between folders in the left pane, such as My Computer, Library and other connected HDs, because a red prohibition symbol appears under the mouse when I try. I tried solutions in videos on the internet and it didn't work.

Map a network drive folder to my video library

To Include folders using Manage Library Tools, we suggest that you perform the steps below:

• In File Explorer, select or open a library (ex: Videos) you want to include a folder or drive to.
• Click on the Library Tools Manage tab, and click on the Manage library button in the ribbon.
• Click on the Add button
• Browse to and select a folder or drive that you want to include in this library, and click on the Include folder button.
• When finished, click/tap on OK.

Bootable USB drive appearing in Disk Management with unusual symbol

I have a bootable USB drive plugged into my PC and although it shows up in Disk Management, it doesn't show up in My Computer. Why does it have a weird symbol? It's the second drive in the list in Disk Management. Disk Management won't let me assign a drive letter, saying the list has to be refreshed, even though I just refreshed it.
