    I want to reinstall windows, but when I boot from the USB, it runs the already installed system instead of coming up with the setup/installationHow to force the setup ?I even disabled the internal hard disk from the bios

    I want to reinstall windows, but when I boot from the USB, it runs the already installed system instead of coming up with the setup/installation

    How to force the setup ?

    I even disabled the internal hard disk from the bios

    Force boot to setup

    I'm beyond the device selection step.

    On the BIOS, I chose the USB as primary, and disabled the internal HDD.

    In the command prompt from the recovery environment, I can navigate normally through the files from the USB.

    So the USB is not the problem. The files from the extracted ISO are all there. Double checked.

    The setup is simply being ignored (bypassed), and windows is using the USB to boot.
