    I've wondered about this for years - now I'm finally asking --

    Does anyone know some key combination - or any other method -
    that will force-hold a browser's bookmark-bar folder to stay open --
    so as to allow more than 1 action to be performed before it closes?

    Isn't this a javascript functionality?

    Surely almost everyone has had this experience --
    you want to re-arrange / rename / etc several bookmarks,
    WITHOUT having to go into the full Bookmark Manager pane!

    In my little screencap, say I wanted to rename/rearrange at least 2 of those 3 bookmarks -
    but the default behavior only allows to manipulate 1 object before the drop-down menu closes.

    How do I edit my bookmarks in Windows 10?

    I found this works for Windows 10:

    • Select the "STAR", upper right which shows your Favorites, Feeds, History tabs & has an"Add to Favorites" drop down menu box. Forget the Add Favorites dropdown.
    • Under the Favorites TAB you will see a list of all your book marks and bookmark folders. Scroll through list until you find the Folder: Favorites Bar, then open. [You will see all your favorite bookmarks that always show in your easy access bookmarks bar,
      just underneath EI search box.]
    • Scroll through list, and select bookmark you want to remove and Right Click selection.
      • You will get a dropdown window, select Delete & left click - bookmark is deleted.
      • repeat steps as necessary for additional bookmarks.
    Works every time.

    Pull-down or Drop-down Menu?

    I decided to uninstall Firefox after the entries in the Favorites doubled.
    (Example: the Yahoo Mail sign-in page appears twice in the list. Deleting
    one also deletes the other.)

    I have been looking for browsers with pull-down or drop-down menus but
    could only find Chrome-styled browsers (without pull-down or drop-down menus).

    Would anyone suggest an old style browser?

    When I want to go to one of my added bookmarks, that's the 'path' I have to take:

    Action/ Go to/ <down>/ Bookmarks/ <down> <down> FINALLY - my folder

    Seems like there are some steps there I could eliminate.

    I'd like to be in the browser, and hit a single button to get to 'MY' bookmarks, as opposed to all those steps.

    Any suggestions?

    Can I at least set it up where I click Action/Go To...

    ...and my folders/bookmarks are right there? (as opposed to Bookmarks, and History folders?)
