Windows 10: Force Sync Settings

Anyone knows if there's a way I could force windows to sync the settings and all the rest? It's missing a "sync now" button, right???


I have tree computers logged to the same account everything turned on wallpaper, other windows settings, passwords, so on but to make it work is another thing....


If I change the wallpaper example sometimes it will never update to the others computers, sometimes it does, but only if I leave the computer turned on and with the "never sleep" function active... it occasionally works partially, it only change the wallpaper but not other windows settings example... I wish the "sync settings" options could have a "sync now" button so we could press it and know if it's working that day or not...


Lost counts on how many times I already full reset my computers or erased cloud synced settings at the acccount.microsoft.com website wishing it could make those functions work properly...


WHEN those functions work they always always work partially and you must wait weeks to happen something.... last computer I bought last week got somehow some Web Credentials the others dont have!!! Somehow the issue must be at the microsoft servers, they must have conflicted versions and the system don't know what to do... it's not on my side... the same thing haappens to any computer, new, old after reset so on... when my surface had warranty the support team already reset it a couple of times, "now it's working" but then it works just once, if you change the wallpaper or anything, nothing....

Sync My Settings Not Syncing

I had a problem previously related to my sync setting being greyed out. Now i have my 2 pcs logged in with a online Microsoft account, all the sync settings are turned on with both pc's. Still it does not seem to be syncing. Any suggestions guys?

 

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

 

Forcing Windows 10 to sync account settings

I had the same issue, while upgrading my HDD. I was not sure on old HDD sync is upto date. Here are the steps I did,

1. Updated onedrive desktop app from Microsoft.
   
2. Right click on One drive quick launch icon on your taskbar, and select "View online"
   
   
   
   
3. It will open Onedrive content in your browser as below,
   
   
   
   

you can resync your desktop folder contents again, and is upto date. This include your current settings also.

1. Replace your new HDD, install latest Onedrive desktop app, and do the same process again.
