  1. Force Win 10 Clipboard to pop-up in secondary monitor?

I use Windows 10 clipboard to paste-in blocks of text during "live" demos, where I am sharing my main, wide-screen monitor with attendees (although I also have a second, 4:3 monitor that's always open). I'd prefer to not show all viewers the contents of my Win 10 clipboard. Can I set Windows to always open the Clipboard pop-up in Monitor #2, when I hit Win + V?

  2. Repositioning app window on dual monitor, Windows 10

    Hi Dreed,

    Thank you for your response.

In this case, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check.

    1. Launch Skype.
    2. Drag the Skype Window to secondary monitor.
    3. Resize the window as per your preference.
    4. Maximize the Window and Restore Down.
    5. Then close the skype window in secondary monitor.
    6. Then try re-launching and check if the issue resolves.

    Regards.

  3. Secondary monitor suddenly not recognized

    Hi there,

    My setup:

    Intel i7-3770 @ 3.40 GHz

EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

    Win 10 pro 64 bit

My graphics card has the following outputs: 3x Display port, 1x DVI, 1x HDMI

Until now i had my main (4k) monitor connected via display port and a secondary monitor (FullHD) connected via DVI. It was working fine for over a year. Two days ago during gaming my secondary monitor
suddenly shut off. Since then it isnt recognized anymore.

    Troubleshooting until now:

    • any other monitors i plug in via hdmi or dvi arent recognized in windows (device manager or display settings) or nvidia system control (i dont have other display port monitors available)
    • also the manual device recognition in display settings and nvidia system control doesnt find anything (same with searching for new hardware in win device manager)
    • when starting the pc with only the DVI plugged in, BIOS and windows loading screen is displayed via DVI, as soon as the login screen would come up, DVI screen shuts down and nothing is displayed (when
plugging in dp at this point, win login screen is displayed there)
    • cables are working fine (hdmi cable works with other pc, dvi screen displays bios when no other screen is plugged in)
    • i selected dvi as source on the secondary monitor
    • when plugging into the pc the secondary monitor it lights up and tells me "no signal available"
    • everything behaves the same regardless of which of my three display ports i am using
    • i rolled back to different nvidia drivers and clean installed the newest driver, nothing changed anything
    • i installed all available windows 10 updates and drivers
    • i reset windows
    • i disconnected power from all screens and waited vor 30 mins
    • i deinstalled the monitor and graphics card in device manager
    • i removed, cleaned and reinstalled the graphics card from my motherboard
    • i tried to connect the secondary monitor either via DVI or HDMI, same behavior in both situations
    • i tried to connect another monitor either via DVI or HDMI, didnt work either

i dont know what else to try... thanks in advance for your help.

  4. Force Win 10 Clipboard to pop-up in secondary monitor?

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
