If you are getting the CHKDSK, you are experiencing the issue. Not all systems react exactly the same.

I guess that your saying that there isn't any files being shared between the two OS's, correct?

Okay, try this. Check to see if you have any restore points saved in W10? Since Windows creates one before installing updates although W10 doesn't tell you that it is, you should have some at least. You'll probably have no restore points in W10 but doesn't this mean that there is "some" file sharing going on the between the two OS's?

The restore points shows that there is some interactions between the two OSs. If you check your system protection in either OS you'd see that one has control of either one. Just making the point that there is interaction.

Look at my previous post. 10tp will eat restore points on 7 or 8.1. It sees it as an "earlier" version and is protecting itself, in a way..

Gotta keep them blind to each other.

Forced checkdisk after switching between OSs in dual boot

Interesting! I've tried this but it didn't work. I even posted in the Insider TechNet forum and it was suggested by a MSVP. This fix is all over the Net but I just looked at your REG file. I just noticed that there was a typo in the MSVP suggested and other places. The ":" as in "E:" was left out. I'll have to try this. I see that it's correctly given in a Windows Seven Forum as well but I didn't catch the typo. My bad!!
