Windows 10: Forced OS Updates

Is there ever going to be an OS that we pay for, that we like, and can just stay with it instead of being forced to buy new OSs and new hardware every time a bunch of @sshole hackers find ways to get passed current security. I'm annoyed as hell that I can't use Windows 7 anymore and the more time goes by, the less I'm "ALLOWED" to do on a system that I paid for already! Pisses me off! Now I have to build an entirely new system and upgrade to a Windows I don't like and learn it all over again. Thanks for that, Microsoft!....

Hi, you showed this to be WU in a screenshot here. Suggest you send that to Nvidia, with other appropriate ones to show how it's not blocked and you have taken the appropriate steps.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

6303c - Forcing Firmware Update v10

Hi All



I got a 6303 as it's listed on BMW as being 100% compliant with incar bluetooth. Sadly Orange have branded the phone which means that it's stuck on v9.40 and NSU shows no updates as being available.



Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can force a firmware update to v10 and whether it will damage the phone?



Any suggestion much appreciated.
