  1. Forced to do a full recovery and that is not working

I recently tried to install some new peripherals to my computer - a keyboard printer and mouse. Windows 10 refused to recognise them, so looking further into it I discovered Windows was updating the drivers, only they would not work because the Windows update failed repeatedly to install.

Losing the will to live, I decided to bite the bullet and refresh Windows, choosing the option to keep my files. Nope, didn't like that, so I created a recovery USB stick and went for a full recovery with my files backed up.

I have now tried to do this 6 times. It gets to the very end, like 98% or 99%, and then just goes back to the start of the process. I've looked at videos on YouTube and can see it should be installing Windows after this, but nothing.

Apart from the peripherals not installing, the PC was working fine until now. I am so annoyed with Windows 10 - I just need to get my computer back so I can do some work.

So if a full recovery does not work, what do you recommend??

    :)

    Data recovery software

click the top spoiler and then look down to recovery.

All of the suggestions in the old threads were consolidated into that one.

  3. Windows 10 infinite restart black screen

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
