Windows 10: Forced to login into PC with internet connection

Long story short, I have re-installed windows because it became unbootable, re-linked my Microsoft account, and now the Windows 10 login page is different there is just a clickable "Sign In" text and if I have no internet connection I'll just see "You'll need the internet for this" message and I will be unable to login and do work if I have no internet.


Why can't I have the old option where I can type my password just fine whether I have internet or not? And if I don't have internet connection and I mistyped my password it'll just say use your previous password


I don't live in a country with very stable internet connection and this is a big problem, I always have my Microsoft account linked and this is the first time I've seen this.

For the new password to sync in your device the internet connection should work. As we see that you are using wireless connection, we suggest you to use Ethernet (Wired) Internet connection and then try to login. This is the best possible attempt
we can do to see if you are able to login to your system. Once you are logged in we can proceed further with the network troubleshooting steps on your system.

1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig
   
   
   
2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
   Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
   NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
