Windows 10: Forgot email password and I cant log into my pc anymore.

I have a email attached to my account and I forgot that email password. When I changed my motherboard on my pc it said that I need to put in a code that Microsoft sent, but I don’t have access to that email anymore and can’t log into my pc.

May we know if you are logging in to your device using a Microsoft Account or a local user account?

If you are using a Microsoft Account, and you can't remember your password, follow these steps to create a new one:

• Go to the
  Reset your password page.
• Choose the reason you need for the password reset, then click Next.
• Enter the email address you used when you made your Microsoft account. This could be any email address, or an email in a Microsoft domain like hotmail.com or outlook.com.
• Enter the characters you see on the screen, then click Next.
• If you have security info on your account, we'll send a one-time code to the alternate phone number or email address you gave us. After you enter that code on the next screen, you'll be able to make a new password.

Forgot Password

Hello Everyone,

I completely forgot my password to log into my Windows 10 Dell laptop. I did try to reset the password from the login screen, and it said password was reset successfully. However, I still cannot log in with my new password, which is the same as my live.com email address.

Any suggestions and/or comments would be much appreciated as I am desperate.
