Windows 10: Forgot Password Windows Recovery

Hello. I received a "stop code error" after turning on my PC and took me to the blue screen to log in as administrator of PC. I do not remember it since it's been years since I had to use a Windows Admin password for my PC.

I suggest you to boot through Windows 10 recovery media, then open Command Prompt from Windows Recovery Environment and enable Built in Administrator.

Follow the below steps to enable Built in Administrator:

• 
  Open Command Prompt from Windows Recovery Environment.
  
• 
  Copy and paste the below command and press Enter.
  

net user administrator /active:yes

3. Close the Command Prompt and try to login though Built in Administrator.

4. Try to change the earlier password or you can create new user account.

Um, are we talking about a windows password?

Lookup a program called Active Password Changer, its a bootable cd that will remove windows passwords *Smile

If it's a bios password, reset the bios *not so easy with some notebooks*
