    Forgot Pin & Password and recovery won’t work


    I forgot what I changed my login pin too and my password won’t work. Only recovery option is text but I’m not getting the code. How do I confirm what microsoft account my password is for so I can reset it? It doesn’t show at the login page. Is there any other option to get into my computer…feeling very dumb and frustrated!

    Forgot password and PIN on Windows 11 PC

    I forgot my password for Windows 11 PC. After reset using my recovery key, the same login screen returned requesting for my password and PIN. The only option I have to reset my password is using a recovery disk or flash drive based on the notification. Please how can I reset my password and PIN even if I have to loose my files on the PC?

    • Are you using Microsoft account or local account for logging in the computer?
    I suggest you to follow steps from the below article “What to do if you forget your Windows password” and check if it helps.
