Windows 10: Forgot Windows 10 Password Can't Log in - safe mode fail

I have a serious problem with my pc. I am locked out of my pc,
as i have forgotten my windows password. I can't login with any combination
of password I have tried. I have also tried restarting the PC in safe mode so that
I could acess the pc and change my password, but I have had no luck
with that either, Everytime I try to restart in safe mode the pc just restarts
to the windows login screen, so I'm stuck in this loop, with no way of entering
safe mode, and not being able to remember my password I am stuck out of my
PC, Please help with some instruction as to what I can try, my pc is a Dell laptop,
running windows 10,
so it's a fairly new pc.... Please somebdy help!!!!

Safe Mode log in

PIN password option on safe mode is not enabled. You will only be allowed to use a password to access your computer in safe mode. To assist you better, kindly answer these questions below:

• Are you referring to a local user account or a Microsoft account?
  
  Is your computer connected to the network via WiFi or through an Ethernet cable?
• Have you tried the troubleshooting steps on this
  link that was provided by Yashwanth Kotakuri on March 19, 2016?

did u try booting from safe mode. i think windows dont ask for a password when u enter to safe mode

 

Stuck in Safe Mode and forgot password for Windows 10

I found myself with this infuriating problem a while ago. I hadn't set up a Microsoft account on my pc, so once in safe mode, I did not have a password, so there was no way obvious way to escape, as every option needed the Microsoft
password to be entered.

After researching for days, I found the following link:

I'm not sure now where I stumbled across this but it allowed me to escape safe mode, for which I am very grateful.

If Microsoft had supplied this solution, I should not have wasted a great deal of time.
