Windows 10: Forgot windows local admin password, how to change it

I have forgotten my laptop windows local admin password, how can I change it

Forgot my Local Admin Password !

I have a All in one Desktop HP pc with 2 local Users

1>.Guest (do not have Admin right)

2>.Admin

I Changed my Password 2 months back of admin user and i forgot the Pwd.

I do not have Pwd rest Disk/Drive.

I have Microsoft Id but never connected it to use it for resetting.

I got free upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7.

i have Cd of Windows 7.

i can login my Pc with my guest local user account which do not have admin right.

i want to change my local admin user.

kindly guest me a solution.

 

Forgot Local Password

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and reset the password for the local account and check.

• 
  Login in to your Microsoft account.
  
• 
  Press Windows logo key + X key.
  
• 
  Select Computer Management.
  
• 
  Click on Local user and group.
  
• 
  In the right window pane, double click on user’s folder.
  
• 
  Right click on local user account and select set password and follow the on screen instructions.
