Windows 10: Forgotten Password

So my wife found an old laptop the other day. One with a bunch of baby pictures on it. It’s about 8 years old and she doesn’t remember the Microsoft password to log on to her account. She has tried to reset it but the email she used was an old work email. Is there any other way we can get the picture off of the hard drive?
