Windows 10: Forgotten UAC Password.

Good morning.


I forgot my UAC Password. Could I bypass it so I can log in or if not what could I do?


I have tried Microsoft Chat for help numerous times over the past 3 weeks but have not been successful in connecting with someone who is familiar enough with Windows to know what to do. They all say the same appeasing phrase "No worries I'll help you...." but an hour later followed by disconnect....


I have written to Microsoft CEO 1.5 week ago thinking he has enough staff to read my letter and respond to my plea but no luck, It appears he doesn't care and who could blame him. He is now a multi-millionaire and he wasn't before.


Could someone out there help me?

Any way to enable an admin password for UAC in windows 10?

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft community.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if this helps:

• Open User Account Control Settings by clicking the Start button.
• Then type uac, and then click Change User Account Control settings.
  
• 
  Do one of the following:
  

• To turn off UAC, move the slider to the Never notify position, and then click
  OK. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. You will need to restart your computer for UAC to be turned off.
• To turn on UAC, move the slider to choose when you want to be notified, and then click
  OK. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

UAC forgotten password. Cant reset anything because UAC prompts for password

Thanks for the help, however after I enter the command on the command prompt I get: system error. Access is denied. Any other suggestions on how to reset this password or remove it? Its very frustrating because I cant open certain programs or files because
UAC comes up asking for the password.
