Windows 10: Forgotten Windows 10 Password on old drive

Hello,Following a Windows update, which was fairly recent, it lead me to an update error code. I copied and pasted into Google, and found that disabling 3 services and renaming the "cat' folder to "cat.old", would fix it. Of course the services would be re-enabled upon restart. Well......that didn't go as planned. Somehow it corrupted my bios. So after several boots, Windows started a "automatic repair", which lead me to the sign on screen. I have had Windows 10 Professional since it came out, but I always used a 4 digit pin, which I think you call windows hello? Anyway, I had a local c

I have an old Asus laptop and I have forgotten the Windows 10 User Password and would like to access my old files on this computer. The computer has no internet connection as my WiFi provider has changed since it was last used. Is there a safe method I
