Windows 10: Format / Factory Reset Dell Inspiron 5520 Windows 7 without DVD,USB,IMAGE

Hi,I was trying to reset the dell Inspiron 5520 with windows 7 home preinstalled OS laptop to factory settings but I do NOT get any of the options mentioned below- RETURN WINDOWS OR YOUR COMPUTER TO ORIGINAL SETTINGSDELL DATA SAFE RESTORE AND EMERGENCY BACKUP RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS.Please advise how to factory reset like a new laptop?

Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 two device driver problems


Upgraded my Dell Inspiron 15R laptop from 10041 to 10049. Went well though it took a long, long, time.

Anyway, I have drivers for all devices except these two and can't actually figure out what they are.

How to factory reset Dell Inspiron PC?

Ideally, the computer manufacturer does factory reset of the computer. We would like to know the version of Windows installed on the computer.



However, if you are looking to reset the computer, you can follow the steps mentioned in the article

If you wish to do a factory reset, I would suggest you to refer the Dell article on

Factory reset, restore, or reinstall Microsoft Windows on a Dell computer.



You may also get in touch with the computer manufacturer so that they can help you in performing factory reset.



Note: Resetting the computer will erase all the data from the computer. It is recommended to take a backup of data before resetting the computer.




As you have mentioned that, you forgot the administrator password. If you were using a Microsoft account, I suggest you to refer the article on
How to reset your Microsoft account password.



However, if you were using a Local account on the computer, refer the article on
