Windows 10: Format hard drive and reinstallation

Hello,If I format the hard drive how do I go about reinstalling Windows and 365,? I have a Microsoft account recovery code but what about office? the last time i did anything like this you haddisks.RD

Formatting my hard drive on Toshiba Satellite and reinstalling Windows 10.

I use a Toshiba Satellite and I upgraded to windows 10.

I want to format my hard drive and reinstall windows 10.

How do I go about it?

Will appreciate a step by step procedure bearing in mind I am not a geek.

 

Format complete hard drive

I have a hard drive with an older windows 10 version and some other partitions. I want to totally reformat the drive and reinstall windows 10. The Device Manager will list only the partitions and not the complete drive. Do I have to format it from a dvd or another hard drive or can it be reformatted from the Media Creation Tool or ?

There are different situations of fomatting a hard drive:

1. Format an external hard drive.

Usually there is only one partition on an external hard drive. To format it, you can open
This PC, right click on the external hard drive, and select
Format....

2. Format an internal hard drive.

Usually there is more than one partition on an internal hard drive.

- To format non-system partitions, the steps are the same as you do in situation 1.

- To format the system partition, you may
reinstall Windows 10 directly.
