Windows 10: Fortnite audio playing through microphone

So while playing fortnite, i'm in a party with others and the problem is they can hear my game audio. I've disabled all options besides microphone, and the issue persists. Any feedback would be appreciated, as this is driving me crazy.

Sounds, music and chat. Trying to stream Pandora using audio input while playing Fortnite game sounds + chat on my USB headset.

I'm having trouble getting Fortnite through my USB headset if my speakers are plugged into my PC's audio input. I went into advanced sound settings on my PC and changed Fortnite to, Speakers (2- USB Audio Device) which is my headset & microphone, but it
continues to play the sounds through my audio input speakers. I don't see anywhere in Fortnite sound settings to change the game sounds, only the chat input/output. What am I missing?

P.S. My Pandora station is playing just fine through my speakers, but so is Fortnite!

 

Microphone issue

We suggest that you run the Audio troubleshooter.

• Type troubleshoot in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshoot.
• On the right pane, select Playing Audio.
• Click Run the troubleshooter.

Since you're using an external headset/microphone, we suggest using a different headset to test if the same issue will occur. You can also run the built-in troubleshooter for hardware and sound by following the steps below:

• In the Windows Search bar, type troubleshoot.
• Open the Control Panel app from the search result.
• Under Troubleshoot computer problems, click Hardware and Sound.
• Click Playing Audio to run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen guide
