    Fortnite Crashes Leading to Sudden PC Shutdown and Restart


    I am experiencing an issue while playing Fortnite on my computer. The system suddenly shuts down and restarts without warning. This only happens with Fortnite and not with any other games or applications.Sometimes the issue occurs right after launching the game, while other times it happens during gameplay. The screen goes black, and the computer restarts unexpectedly. This has happened multiple times.My system specifications are as follows:CPU: Intel i5 13400FGPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 MSIRAM: 2x MSI DDR5 8GB 5200 MT/sStorage: WD_BLACK SN850X NVMe SSD + HeatsinkMoth

    PC is Suffering Unexpected Shutdowns

    Most important detail to me would be whether these shutdowns are sudden, in which case it's likely a short or PSU issue (capacitor aging maybe?) or graceful windows style shutdowns, which suggests software interference.

    It could also be overheating components if it's a sudden shutdown. What are your thermals like?

    What kind of a crash do you mean?
    • Freeze crash
    • Bluescreen crash
    • Sudden shutdown/restart crash
    Only with the bluescreen crash a dump is created.

    My pc freezes and crashes while playing fortnite

    As the tilte suggests i have been experiencing my pc freezing and crashing while i play fortnite (havent tested any other games). To begin with ive been experiencing fortnite crashing mid game for the past week. I updated drivers windows 10 and unistalled fortnite and installed it again. After the windows update i think that the problem expanded to my pc freezing and crashing. To save you some time i have Autoruns from a previous crashing issue
