Windows 10: Fortnite EasyAntiCheat causing a BSOD

Good evening. I'm downloading games onto my new Alienware laptop. Fortnite specifically. Fornite crashes my Laptop 90% of the time

As the cause of the BSOD is due to EasyAntiCheat and it only happens with Fortnite.

I suggest you contact Epic Games support so they can help you.

 

Ntoskrnl.exe causing bsods, page_fault_in_non_paged_area for games like apex and fortnite

Also, I did all the steps, launched back into normal mode from safe mode, and still got a bsod when I opened fortnite.

 

Preventing windows defender from scanning games that contain EasyAntiCheat

So I have come to the conclusion that Easyanticheat freaks out and blue screens my PC when its being scanned by antivirus's including windows defender, so how can I prevent these games from being scanned? (Most prevalent being Fortnite).

Additional question but not needing an answer: What common programs can cause Easyanticheat to freak out / crash? (Example: Overwolf)
