    I have a problem. My Fortnite is not running. When I run it, it tells me that it fails to find hardware with DX11. But when I checked DirectX Diagnostic Tool, it showed I had DX12. How can I run Fortnite?

    Fortnite, as is shown by the error, is not a DX12 game. Fortnite uses DX11, and Win10 comes with all versions of DX, not just DX12.

    Did you download and install the game from the EPIC store or somewhere else ?

    btw - To determine if your graphics processor can use DX12 you need to click on the
    Display tab in dxdiag and look at the

    Feature Levels in the right hand column.

    You can verify if all DirectX files are installed by running the DirectX Web Installer...

    Fortnite not running on Windows 10 PC with DX12

    So i bought this prebuilt PC with windows 10 on it... i tried to run fortnite on it but it said "DX11 feature level 10.0 needed to run the game". I dont have a GPU and yes i have tried updating my Display adapters and they are up to date... how do i get
    DX11 on my pc instead of DX12?
