Windows 10: Forza Crashing at Launch

I played forza horizon 4 off of Xbox gamepass for pc the first day I got it for about 4 hours. The next day it suffered from crashing whenever I launched it. I tried a bunch of things including a clean install of the game and restarting my pc and wifi. I used the ddu driver uninstaller to completely clean my drivers, and reinstall nvidia game ready drivers for my RTX 2070S. I played it for about 4 more days and then the problem resurfaces. In the event viewer this is my error information:

These 3 warnings preceded it, not at launch, but since my last successful launch of the game:

Forza Horizon 3 Crash on Gameplay

Hi,

I understand that Forza Horizon 3 keeps crashing.

Forza Horizon 3 crash on launch

temporary solution!!!

For everyone who's having a crash at the launch of the game, my games crashes everytime! So tried to uninstall one of the DLC's, I have the Hotweels DLC. So I uninstalled that. Launched the game and it works!

So:

-Forza Horizon 3

-Hotweels DLC

-Blizzard Mountain DLC

1. Uninstall one of the DLC's (I'd suggest hotweels since it's the smallest dlc)

1.2 just to be sure reset in App & Features

2. Click play Forza from the start menu (your game should work by this step!)

3. Install hotweels DLC again.

Your game should work! this worked for me.

 

Forza Horizon 3 Not Launching

Hi Adam,

Let's try to identify first as to why you can't launch your Forza Horizon 3 on your computer. Kindly provide us the following information:

• Can you tell us if you receive any error messages when attempting to launch Forza 3?
• Were you able to launch other games on your computer?
• Can you tell us the troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you try the following solutions below:

Solution 1: Run the Windows App troubleshooter provided on this
link.

Solution 2: Reset Windows Store cache

• Press Windows key + R to open Run.
• Type WSReset.exe and hit Enter.
• Launch the game from the Windows Store.

Solution 3: Download any free app from Windows Store. Once done, try to launch the game.
